Hand Warmer

Title

Hand Warmer

Subject

Hand warmers

Description

The hand warmer is molded and has an aperture near one end for filling with hot water. A large hole at the bottom of an inner wall allows the water to pass into the other book. Relief decoration includes ribbed spines, pseudo clasps, and masks within diamonds superimposed on circles. Painting outlines and forms decorative bands on some relief ornament, creates flowers, outlines two-dimensional surfaces, and defines "page edges."
